Korea International Trade Association (Chairman, Han Duck-soo) had built Korean Pavilion at Cosmobeaute Asia 2014 which was held for four days from July 14 at Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC), Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.

Cosmobeaute Asia 2014 is Asia’s largest leading beauty exhibit, which celebrated its 10th anniversary this year. 27 Korea’s excellent cosmetic and beauty companies took part in the event. Particularly, this year’s hosting country Malaysia is located in the center of the ASEAN countries and is an important bridgehead for entering into the ASEAN markets.

In this exhibition, not only the beauty products such as natural cosmetics, facial masks, electric cleansers and nail art products, but also medical supplementary devices like massage bed and high-frequency medical treatment device, to hit the Southeast Asian Spa market,  were showcased and had great attention from the buyers who visited and participated in the exhibit.

In addition, 6 cosmetic manufacturers who produce cosmetics containing the clean natural ingredients and geographical features of Jeju, such as magma cosmetics, took part in the event and received satisfactory responses from the consumers who preferred the eco-friendly cosmetics.

Lim Yun-sang, the CEO of SkinFactory, said “The marketing activities that were conducted by KITA in advance led many buyers with purchasing power to visit Korean Pavilion and helped generate good results from the business meetings.

Besides this exhibit, KITA is planning to host ‘Business Meetings by Inviting Big Beauty Buyers from the East Asia’ in November in order to preempt the beauty markets in ASEAN region.
