“C-Festival 2015 To Boost Domestic Demand and Exports of K-Wave Products”

The Korea International Trade Association (Chairman, Kim In-ho) and the Small and Medium Business Administration (Administrator, Han Jung-wha) announced that they would run “K-Wave Brand Shop (4.30~5.3)” at COEX in Samseong-dong for four days from April 30 during the C-Festival 2015.

 

The brand promotion booths for SMEs’ K-Wave products consisted of the selected 50 fifty small and medium-sized companies who manufacture and export K-Wave products such as cosmetics, beauty devices, living products and household commodities. Through C-Festival 2015, the companies not only marketed their major products and raised their brand image but also drew positive feedback as they enabled the visitors to experience and purchase the products directly on the site.

 

In addition, it held one on one export consultation meetings for two days by inviting nineteen big buyers from seven countries including TESCO, the UK-based global retailer and Vanguard, China’s leading retailer with a view to expanding exports of the participating companies as well as the relevant consumer goods. B2B export business matching services were provided via 135 export consultations between buy buyers and the participating companies.

 

Jang Ho-geun, Executive Managing Director of KITA, said “During the C-Festival 2015 which took place in the Trade Center, designated as the MICE Special Tourism Zone, KITA provided the B2C and B2B platforms for the companies who are leading K-Wave. It is expected that this event will contribute to the expansion of exports in the future as the companies were able to market and introduce their products and have intensive export consultation meetings with the global big buyers”.
